                                                  Welcome to HESWLL PROBUS

Heswall Probus is one of the oldest of some 2000 UK Probus clubs.

                Probus is short for Professional and Business

     Our Members, totalling over 100, including 6 life members are drawn from                           North and South Wirral, Ness , Burton and Chester.

                       Joining Fee is £35 and Membership £10 per annum

                   (This includes Free First Year Membership of Bowls & Snooker)

      The Club is open to men who are retired or not in full time employment,       

                having had some measure of responsiblity, self employment or SME business in their careers.

   The Club has proved to be an excellent way to make new and enduring friends.

      Our principle meeting is a lunch held at Thornton Hall Hotel on the 3rd Monday of the month.

          After Lunch we have a Speaker and enjoy a diverse range of subjects.

                  In addition we have an Annual Ladies Lunch.

           You are sure to find us a welcoming and friendly club.

   As an introduction why not come to one of our  regular Wednesday Coffee mornings  10 until approx 11am in the rear meeting room at United Reform Church (next to Tesco).Some Members continue with informal bridge until 12 noon.

             For members seeking active activities  we have :

    Bowls, Snooker ,Informal Bridge,Walking,Rambling and Cycling groups.

In addition we have excursions to places of interest where partners and friends are welcome to join.
