THORNTON  HALL HOTEL

 

Lunches are held on the 3rd Monday

each month 11.30 for 12am

                               

The Lunch is preceded by a Welfare report

followed by updates on all the other Activities

 

This is followed by a Speaker : the speaker for the month  can be found by clicking the Speaker

page tab .

The Lunch  usually finishes at approx 3-30   . 

Guests are welcome  and invited by a Member

                      

Members are required to notify the Lunch     Secretaries of such invitations not later than the  

Thursday  preceding the Lunch.

 

Notification by Members  of non  attendance for the current month is required either via the register at the preceding Lunch or by  informing the Lunch Secretaries by the Thursday prior to the Monday Lunch. 

 

 

There are 4 Ticket Lunches a year to promote  a random table seating ,to ensure Members continue to make new contacts as well as catching up with the news from old  friends.

A Very enjoyable Lunch was had by all at Thornton Hall Hotel with Guest Speaker Major Mike Brownsell of the Queen Alexanders Royal Army Nursing service giving a very interesting talk on the Camp Bastion Hospital in Afganistan.
